Dr. Veneberg - Children's Dentist in Scottsdale, AZ

Dr. Veneberg (“Dr. V”) , is a board certified pediatric dentist by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry with 14 years of experience in dentistry. She is originally from Colorado and is married to Ryan Veneberg, a Michigan native. They are proud parents of their son, Kyle. As a parent herself, she knows and understands the needs of the young patients she treats. Even before motherhood, she has been passionate to treat every child as a unique individual to guide them to have a positive, fun experience at every dental visit.
Dr. Veneberg completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She graduated from dental school in 2002 from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. After dental school, Dr. Veneberg served on active duty in the U.S. Army for 8 years. During the first four years she practiced general dentistry including completing a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. She realized her passion to limit her practice to pediatric dentistry while stationed in Kitzigen, Germany. In 2006, she began her pediatric residency at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas and graduated with her Pediatric Dentistry Specialty Certificate in 2008.

After completing her specialty training, Dr. Veneberg practiced pediatric dentistry for active duty dependent children at Yongsan Army Base in South Korea. She met her husband, Ryan who was also on active duty in South Korea. In 2010, she separated from active duty to follow her husband to his next duty location in Arkansas. Dr. Veneberg continued her military service by transferring to the Army National Guard in October 2010. She continues to serve as a dentist in the Army National Guard.

Prior to relocating to Arizona in December 2015, Dr. Veneberg practiced pediatric dentistry in Central and Northwest Arkansas for 5 years. Arizona is one of her favorite places in the world. She has fond memories of spending time with her great grandmother and family in Scottsdale as a child. Her extended family continues to celebrate family reunions in Scottsdale. Because of her and her husband's love of the desert climate, scenery and the outdoor lifestyle they chose to permanently relocate to Scottsdale.

Dr. Veneberg is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a national distinction achieved by very few pediatric dentists. She currently holds memberships in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentists, American Dental Association, and the Arizona State Dental Association. She strives to keep up with the latest in pediatric dentistry by attending continuing education courses throughout the year.
