Dr. V is a mom, Army veteran, and a board-certified pediatric dentist with nearly two decades of dental experience. Beyond serving patients, she absolutely loves to travel with her husband and son – especially to other countries where they get to learn about other cultures and ways of living. Dr. V also enjoys being outdoors and taking light hikes with her family.

1982-1998
1982 Inspiration

Met childhood pediatric dentist, Dr. Elizaebeth Barr at age 8. Dr. Barr served as Dr. Veneberg’s inspiration to become a pediatric dentist.

1991 service

Enlisted in the US Army for a four-year commitment as a supply specialist. Lived on the east coast, Germany, Saudi Arabia and Texas.

Completed 4 years of active duty in the US Army and started degree in Biology at University of Texas at San Antonio.

1998 dental school

Started her journey of 4 years of dental school at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Graduated with Doctor of Dental Surgery at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA). Active duty in Army, stationed at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, first position as a general dentist.

Completed one-year advanced general dentistry residency at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. Stationed in the Bavaria region of Germany as a general dentist.

2005 deployment & Relocation

Deployed in May to Iraq as a general dentist, completed a 6-month deployment in Iraq, and relocated back to Germany.

Residency

Began Pediatric Dental Residency at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. Clinical rotations at Scottish Rite Medical Center and Children’s Medical Center-Dallas.

Residency
South Korea

Dental Mission Trip to Honduras. Graduated from Pediatric Dental Residency at Baylor College of Dentistry. Stationed in Seoul South Korea, practiced pediatric dentistry for children of active duty members.

2010National Guard &
Private Practice

Completed over 8 years of active duty service in the US Army as a dentist, 12 years total active military service. Transferred to National Guard, position as dentist. Practiced pediatric dentistry in Private practice in Central and NW Arkansas.
